8:00 AM. Sunday mornings at Meadowmount Summer Music Festival begin in the Main House. The rustic dorms are perched precariously on the Adirondack mountains in upstate New York, and a ten second walk takes you directly into the cafeteria for a fantastic assortment of homegrown fruits, hand-baked muffins, and cereal.

9:00 AM – 12:00 PM. The next three hours are up to your own volition. You can go to church, go hiking with your friends up County Route 10 into the heart of the mountains, or head into town and watch the latest hit movies. If you want, you can hit the recreation room a quarter-mile from the Main House and play some ping-pong or pool with people you’ve never talked to before!

12:00 PM – 1:15 PM. Congregation in the cafeteria again, this time for lunch!

1:15 PM – 5:30 PM. This is all your individual time. You can watch concerts in the 700-seater hall, attend masterclasses with internationally renowned musicians, take field trips, or just chill in the Main House—the only place with WiFi.

5:30 PM – 6:45 PM. A full course meal for dinner. There are plenty of dessert options as well!

7:00 PM – 10:00 PM. These three hours are typically spent in front of the campfire with one (or more) s’mores. You can socialize with your dorm mates and your friends and discuss the day’s events.

10:30 PM. Monday approaches quickly, so hurry up and get in bed. The next day begins with the dawn. This is, after all, summer in the Adirondacks.
